Rotary's Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack Event is this Saturday, October 5, 2013 at RiverStar.  We are still in need of a few volunteers for the 3:30 - 5:30pm shift.  If you are able to help or have friends or family who are, please contact Mark Patterson at 452-5109.  Or if you are part of an organization or business who may be interested in sponsoring a team, please let us know. Teams will volunteer to do a variety of tasks needed to pack about 25,000 meals per shift. Each team or organization needs to provide funding of $800 for the costs of the meals they pack.  We need just 1 or 2 more teams to reach our goal. Please help spread the word.

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization which utilizes volunteers to put together specially formulated food packets to be sent around the world to feed starving children.  The program is very reputable and serves children who are starving.  Every day, 18,000 children die from starvation.  Rotary’s goal is to raise $22,000 as a community and pack 100,000 meals.  Each meal costs only $.22 to produce.

Please consider being a part of this amazing service project.
