Four members of Rotary Club of Cloverdale (Club President, Deborah Richards; Treasurer, Marian Maletta, Elizabeth Camacho, and Liz Muyco, President-Elect) were happy to volunteer their time on Saturday, July 20 in support of the Port Moody Rotary Ribfest Event. They volunteered as a part of the Green Team, helping to clear tables, and helped to sort and recycle items used and consumed at the event.

Our first '5th Wednesday' Social Event took place on January 30.  What a great way to start off the year!  Club members were joined by friends and family at Baseline Pub, in Surrey.

On Wednesday, September 26, 2018 members of the Rotary Club of Cloverdale welcomed District 50/50 leaders, Linda Murray, District Governor (2018-19), Lindagene Coyle, District Governor (2017-18), Alf Marchi, Area Governor – Area E, and Bill Murray.   They shared a meal with club members at our regular meeting location, the Honeybee Centre, on Fraser Highway.

During the visit District 5050 Governor (2018-19), Linda Murray provided information on the District Goals for the year, and we discussed how the club can support those goals.

Club members were pleased to receive the Presidential Citation for 2017-18 from our 2017-18 District Governor, Lindagene Coyle. The citation was received by Club President, Mervin Kristoff.

In November the Rotary Club of Cloverdale provided support for the ACT - CPR in High Schools Program at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School.  This support was recently acknowledged by Jennifer Edwards, Operations Manager, ACT Foundation. 

Rotary Club of Cloverdale is very pleased to know that this contribution helped the program to achieve a milestone in 2017 of 3.9 million students being trained in CPR. 


ACT Foundation also shared the news that the Governor General of Canada recently recognized ACT's Executive Director, Sandra Clarke, and its Medical Director and emergency physician Dr. Justin Maloney with the Meritorious Service Cross. For more information on this honour go to:

Great time bowling yesterday. We were joined by a few Rotarians from other clubs as well as friends from the community..
Members of the Rotary Club of Cloverdale came together for fun while selling Blueberries July 25th and 26th.
Great family fun, and connection to the community at the 2015 Honeybee Festival.  Our club is definitely part of the community.  We even managed to raise some money for projects.
Together Lord Tweedsmuir Interact club raised over $2500 this year. Donating $750 to Coast Cottages Mental Health, $750 to White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society and $1000 to Doctors Without Borders.
