Using Clubrunner and Improving our Social Media presence
Fellows,
Our Clubrunner dues are on 1st August.  It is the only vehicle that links a Club's info directly with RI.  It is not the easiest to master, but once done it is streamlined.  Discussion at Club Board meeting will be to decide to use it or dump it.

Ongoing email conversation regarding Social Media and Branding which will be part of Gina's talk on the 19th July:

Hi Gina

Just to clarify and as discussed last week your thoughts via email about the proposed social media approach were to be gratefully received ahead of the scheduled meeting.  We agreed catch up at a future date where would checked in with you about the outcomes from the meeting and then we would continue to build of social and branding presence.

It seems President Harley wishes that everyone meet sometime in the future in lieu of a two-stage build process.

Thank you for your feedback.

Cheers

David

Hi David
As advised last Thursday, I am not able to make the meeting prior to changeover.  However, I think what you have suggested for a social media approach for publicising Terrigal Rotary is do-able.

I’d like to see the club give more consideration as to what it can do to lift our public image – in addition to social media.  Things like developing a new club brochure, investing in some new pull-up-banners (and ceasing to use the old ones that don’t have the up to date signage), adopting the ‘people of action’ advertising campaign on all publicity and advertising material, taking every opportunity to promote the club etc etc.

Regards
Gina

Subject: RE: Terrigal Rotary's social media approach

Hi all

You will recall the proposed meeting on Terrigal Rotary's social media approach was rescheduled to the  28th June at 5.00pm suit.

It is noteworthy that just a few responses have been received on the proposed approach.

Can you please via Reply All indicate your view on this matter ie Terrigal Rotary’s social media presence and the proposed approach.

We are very fortunate that Zone 6 Rotary International Brand and Public Image Coordinator, Past District Governor and Past President Gina has offered to add value to our efforts on Terrigal Rotary's social media approach.

If however as a group we do not have a shared sense of the benefits of social media to the life and future of the Terrigal Rotary or a willingness to do some of the lifting then asking Gina to speak with us and or hold a meeting this week is likely to progress the club’s position.

Can you please indicate your willingness to support the proposed approach or offering a different perceptive that can be considered.

Regards

David
