Sally Hetherington

Our guest speaker this week was Sally Hetherington OAM. 
Sally is the founder and current CEO of Human and Hope Association. Sally authored the book ‘It’s Not About Me’, her inspiring story about developing sustainable programs for communities in rural Cambodia.

“I realised that for organisations to be sustainable, they need to be run by local staff. And for local staff to run organisations, they needed to be empowered.”
