PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

This is my last President’s Report and I can’t say I shall miss writing these fortnightly reports –   I should like to thank PDG Gina Growden for the wonderful newsletters she has compiled over the past couple of years.   Our Club has received many accolades on the quality and content of these newsletters.    Thank you Gina.

I should also like to thank every member of our Club for the love and support given to me over the last two years. I feel extremely proud and grateful for the presidential privileges you’ve given to me.   Thank you.

I’m looking forward to working with PE Mark who will lead our Club along a modern, and fresh path, and I’m sure you will give him as much support as you’ve given me.

I’m pleased to announce we are finishing our year with a major scoop.  As a result of David Boyd’s (or more accurately his wife Leigh’s relationship) with Sarah Ferguson at Mingara, we were asked to  partner with Star 104.5 FM and Clubs NSWS CC who are raising funds for Regional Youth Support Services.  We have registered a RABS Project account allowing tax deductibility for donations for this cause.   The Rotary Club of Terrigal’s logo is on all promotional material.  There will be a large sound and light show at the Haven in September and we shall also feature in this.

This week’s meeting is our Changeover at Breakers and next week Mark will hold his first business meeting also at Breakers.
