Jeremy was born with a massive hole in his heart and underwent open heart surgery in his native New Zealand at age 4 in 1977. He has written a book his life — The Long Road from a Broken Heart — and is raising funds for heart foundations in Australia, the UK and NZ.
Jeremy not being able to crawl and then run like everyone else had made him stubborn. That was why he had made the most of his new-found health after the successful surgery he had as a child.
