Shelterbags - Dignity for the homeless
With thanks to our dedicated members, in particular Mary Crammond and David Boyd, Terrigal Rotary have now imported and distributed Shelterbags to NSW, WA and Victoria 3700. We have received a new shipment of Shelterbags, on the Central Coast, and have been able to distribute them to agencies involved with the Homeless to provide a shelter from the elements when sleeping rough.
Shelterbag committee member David Boyd, has been busy delivering/distributing Shelterbags for the Homeless throughout the Central Coast, to the Hunter and in Sydney. So often when we engage with an Outreach Agency, they advise of another agency needing Shelterbags for their Homeless clients. There are more and more homeless people presenting to outreach agencies.
