Congratulations President Mary - Our Newest Paul Harris Fellow!

We were delighted to present (virtually) President Mary with a PHF at our changeover dinner last Thursday.  Mary was assured that she would receive her actual lapel pin and certificate at our first physical meeting when COVID19 permits us to meet.

The citation for Mary's Fellowship is:

Our Club has contributed to our charity, the Rotary Foundation, since it's inception, thereby allowing grants for projects such as the Didi Foundation, and awards such as this, to be presented in recognition of the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self.

A donation of US$1,000 to the Rotary Foundation enables us to award a Paul Harris Fellowship to a club member of member of our local community.  Tonight we have great pleasure in recognising a Terrigal Rotarian as a PHF - someone who has been innovative, passionate and inspirational, both about how we run the club, and also the different ways we can do good in the community.

This person has been very much more than a "quiet achiever", and has brought energy and respect throughout our dealings both with each other and the wider world of Rotary.

The Paul Harris Fellowship is an emphatic acknowledgement of the appreciation shown for tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among people of the world.

Our awardee this year has done this and more in furtherance of international understanding and support for those in need both abroad and at home.  Initiating and supporting programs such as Pamper Day, Rotary Against Domestic Violence, Feeding those in need during COVID-19, developing links with clubs overseas, and local projects, this person embodies the spirit of Rotary.

A Person of Action in the true Rotary sense, we are pleased tp award this Paul Harris Fellowship to President Mary Crammond.
