Hi guys,
This is the first appearance of our conference gnome in Terrigal Colours. As the artist I feel obliged to set out the following notes.
The bearded gnome represents the ageing and dare I say over weight membership of Terrigal Rotary. He swims daily and patrols the beaches, looking for opportunities to serve the community, hence the surf lifesaving colours , the navy blue cap, specially issued to gnome members with pointy heads is proudly worn. He has his surfboard at the ready to dive in and help rescue those in need. Of course he always swims between the flags, one of which he is just about to plant in the sand, represented by the yellow base.
I’m still struggling to account for the frog and would appreciate feedback.
