Congratulations to Terrigal Rotary member, Michael Hickey OAM, and former member and husband of member, Gina Growden - Harold Sharp OAM who have (Harold) and will be (Michael) receiving their medals this week. The ceremony takes place at Government House in Sydney in the presence of the Governor of NSW Margaret Beazley and her husband Dennis.
Harold and Michael were advised of their award in June, but because of COVID, presentations of the Australia Day Awards were delayed and needed to be carried out prior to the Queens Birthday awards. Having two awardees associated with Terrigal Rotary is fantastic and President Mary and all the members are thrilled to congratulate Harold and Michael both of whom are worthy recipients
