The President or a representative of the Rotary Club of Terrigal was invited to attend the Mayor's Christmas Get Together on Tuesday 11 December 2018 at the Shelley Beach Surf Club. I was privileged to be asked by President Greg to attend on behalf of the Club.
The attendees were from broad range of not for profit groups such as Rotary, Progress groups, State Emergency Services and representatives from all levels of government. The mayor thanked the community groups for their contribution to the health, wellbeing and sustainability of the Central Coast community. orts/2018-2028/full-report.pdf was mentioned as the first ever Central Coast Community Strategic Plan. Titled One - Central Coast, it acknowledges and celebrates the coming together of our community as one region in NSW.
I commented to the mayor that hosting an event which brought together community representatives was a great initiative.
