Hopefully you will already have in your diaries two very important dates in your new role: Sat 16 March – PETS President Elect Training Session Sun 14 April– District Assembly (Training for all your 2019/20 club boards) Irrespective of any experience you already may have leading your Rotary Club, it is essential that you attend PETS to ensure you and your Club remain current and to give you the skills to grow the achievements of your Club over the coming year. The event is an opportunity to meet all presidents-elect in our District as well as your support team – Assistant Governors and District Team members. The event is also considered by RI to be compulsory to ensure your success, so if there is any impediment to your attendance, please talk to me ASAP. It is essential that each Club be represented at this event. Please also be aware that you may well have some pre-work to complete prior to PETS so that we can maximise the time we have together on the day.
