DECEMBER marks what is officially designated as Family Month in the Rotary calendar. In our District we have referred to it more commonly as Family of Rotary Month. Both descriptions are relevant and appropriate.
As we approach Christmas and the New Year we are more conscious of a focus on family and family reunions. People of most faiths (or even no religious faith) celebrate on some level, commerce slows down and many families take their annual holidays. So December is indeed a time to reflect on family values and how Rotary shapes those values.
