Following the last Cluster Meeting the subcommittee was tasked with looking at the addition of a plaque to commemorate 100 years of Rotary in Australia to the current Rotary plaques at the Rotary Puddle Garden in Festival Gardens at Mt Penang.

This is to update you all on the progress we have made thus far.

We have made an application to Hunter Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC), who operate the gardens for permission to install the new plaque. Below is a photo indicating the proposed location of the new plaque. The new plaque is the same height but twice the width of the existing plaques and will be made of the same/similar stone. Our contact at HCCDC indicated that approval should be a formality and would be granted.

We have come up with a design for the plaque and costed the supply and installation of the plaque at $2,076.00 which equates to $138.40 for each of the 15 clubs. The supplier has indicated that the plaque would take 3-4 weeks to supply and install.
