Terrigal Rotary’s support of Bowel Care Australia’s http://www.bowelcare.org.au/ Program 2019 commenced on Tuesday 26 March 2019 with 625 kits delivered to seven local pharmacies.
The cost of the kit remains at $15.00 which covers pathology testing and notification of results to both the participant and their nominated Doctor.  The kits are on sale from 1 April to 31 May 2019.
The accompanying photo is of a counter display box.  Through our local Rotary Clubs Bowel Scan Australia developed from our Mother Club, East Gosford Rotary before the Federal Government got involved, and through BSA and Rotarians organising booths and taking kits out to pharmacies, we have saved literally thousands of lives, and all costs cover the pathology and postage/handling costs.  Please continue to support this great initiative.

2. Earlier detection of potential or actual bowel cancer.

Over the years the BowelCare Program has grown and now also includes Rotary Districts 9710 and part of 9675.
