ANOTHER GREAT BOOK SALE!
What a fantastic Book Sale we had on all counts. This is such a wonderful Rotary Club of Terrigal program initiated by Gina and our main fundraiser. With first class support, great working together and fantastic service to our customers we were able to raise almost $10,000.
🎁 Congratulations to John and Janet for a project perfectly executed. 😀 Thank you too to all the committee for your great organisation and planning. 👋 Special thanks to our former members and volunteers who helped in innumerable ways to the total success.
The new system thanks to COVID19 is working well and we will clearly need to do this into the future to cover OH&S and our insurance.
Friday morning saw all hands on deck and the setting up in a very efficient way. Saturday and Sunday ran like clockwork and included an Inner Wheel stall on Saturday and the Coffee Van on both days.
Clean up on Monday was so efficient - about an hour and the Scout Hall was done!
Thank you again to our committee, our members and our network of friends👏. There are sure to be great stories from everyone who participated e.g. a woman delivered some coffee table books and shortly after a man came by the sales desk with his purchases. It turned out that one of the books on display was just what he was looking for!
