Fellows
We have a number of positions filled for our next year's Board, and as we have developed centralised systems and a Club strategic plan, now it is far less onerous for Directors to manage their portfolios.

Thanks to Stewart we have a workable budget, and Andrew has a strategy for centralising our records, key documents and formatted correspondence.  For example: Andrew has on file our Respect Policy that was ratified by all members present at our last Club Assembly.  These are policy documents are usually endorsed at AGMs or where By-Laws required to be changed.  An AGM Agenda will be sent out with next week's TT Bulletin.

As our Social Media innovations have been exciting some members find this new ground, and we will discuss this platform as an item on if, or how we can include this in our Strategic Plan that will progress into PE Mary's year.

Greggo needs to have reports to him early next week for publication, and Directors to have a brief to give to the members at the AGM.

We are a friendly, inclusive and social Club that fund raises to support and undertake projects and activities that make a difference and changes lives locally, nationally and internationally.
Our focus areas include youth and community through our connection with schools, other not for profit organisations and special interest groups and networking and engaging with local businesses and professionals
Terrigal Rotary Club has a high profile, particularly in the local area, and it members are known as being committed, passionate and active people that become involved in a wide variety of projects, with all members participating willingly and enthusiastically at all times.
We are an active and fun Club and want to foster friendship amongst our members and the wider community.  We believe that anyone who comes to Terrigal Rotary is a “stranger but once,”
We acknowledge these values in an affirmation at the beginning of each meeting citing one of our Rotary Testaments: our Four Way Test, our Objects or our Avenues of Service

Club Goals

In the year 2018 – 19 we will attempt to attain these goals
  1. To bring Terrigal Rotary Management system online with a centralized cloud storage together with Clubrunner ie speaker program, eBulletin, records, finances etc
  2. To develop training of five “Web Masters” to ensure integrity of Clubrunner / Cloud storage uploading our paper based and fractured email /PC stored records
  3. To increase our social media presence with Facebook etc and an active web page
  4. We will attempt to have 25 active members by June 2019
  5. To maintain a 50:50 gender balance
  6. To attract 5 new members under 40 years by June 2019
  7. To increase our pool of volunteer workers to twenty “Friends of Terrigal Rotary“ - note our Rotary-Friends are invited to our meetings and events but are not included in our Rotary membership definitions under the By-Laws.

  2. Developing the Prodigies program of Symphony CC
  3. Hosting an annual concert event on the CC, with funding from CCC (maybe Symphony CC)

Threats or challenges

  1. Meeting venue at Breakers? Constant moving rooms, types of meals served
  2. Lack of a Risk Management culture eg someone getting hurt at the Book Sale; or allegation and potential loss of reputation of the Club
