In a facility with squeaky clean floors, meticulous parts access and and on going work and product review system, Chamberlain Manufacturing in West Gosford, was a very interesting place to visit. Making the motors for industrial roller doors, micron perfect assembly is essential, and Chamberlain has an impressive record.
Shown round by Rodney and Shane, they explained in detail how the products were assembled by workers and robots, with time saving elements put in place as well as inspections both automated and by sight which were implemented at every stage.
