The Australian National Maritime Museum is Australia’s national centre for maritime collections, exhibitions, research and archaeology.

The museum has one of the largest floating historical vessel collections in the world, featuring the renowned replica of Captain Cook’s HMB Endeavour, the former Navy destroyer HMAS Vampire, the former Navy patrol boat HMAS Advance and former Navy submarine HMAS Onslow.

Vanessa Weedon is the Head of Projects at the ANMM where she has worked for the last 4 years and is responsible for delivery of the museum’s site renewal Masterplan and major exhibition programme.

Vanessa has Master’s degrees in architectural history and building conservation from US and UK universities. She has previously worked for the United Nations Development Program in Vietnam. Prior to that she was a director of Sydney project management consultancy, Incoll.
