What a grand celebration it was all round to recognise the Diamond Anniversary of the Pennant Hills Rotary Club. 60 years since the club was chartered was celebrated by many current and past members and their partners. We had our District Governor, Kalma McLellan and Assistant Governor Robert Erskine in attendance plus the Mayor of Hornsby Shire, the Hon. Cr. Philip Ruddock. All three spoke of Rotary's contribution in the community and in particular the wonderful contribution our club has made over the years. A power-point presentation highlighted many of the projects and achievements of our club through the years. This was supported by a series of reminiscences by some of the more senior past and present members. We were very well hosted for this afternoon tea by the Pennant Hills Golf Club who came to our assistance when the original venue was closed due to the COVID 19 virus.
We had a birthday cake which was ceremoniously cut by our most senior member PP Jack Reid watched on by PP John Ellis and DG Kalma.
