Stano Faban, a recent Rotary Club guest, has offered to guide a hike to Brandywine Meadows for all that are interested.  Stano has offered his guiding services in lieu of  donations for the Rotary District 5040 Wildfire Relief Fund

Description:
Brandywine Meadows, just south of Whistler, are beautiful in any season and a 30min off-road drive climbs high enough to make the meadows accessible for almost any level (able to walk at least 3-4km on easy flat trails). The more adventurous in the group, accompanied by a guide, will continue higher up the mountain (ascending about 400m or 1-1.5h above the meadows) to catch views of the surrounding area and rugged peaks.

Special Notes:
This trip will be lead by Stano Fabin,  a local professional hiking guide, a volunteer on this trip. Once at least 3 participants are confirmed we will send you all gear & clothing requirements, but for starters it's highly recommended to bring above-ankle hiking boots and rain gear.
Trip departure will be confirmed 2-3 days before since late September can bring unexpected weather.
