2017 Don MacLaurin Forest Sign Project Ceremony

Please join us on November 6th as the Rotary Club of Whistler celebrates the completion of the 2017 phase of the Don Maclaurin Forest Sign Project.  This year’s effort involved additional brushing and maintenance activites in  the Whistler Interpretive  Forest.  New  signs were added and old signs updated and replaced throughout the forest 

We will meet at 200PM at the Old Forest Loop, within the Whistler Interpretive Forest. to celebrate the successful completion of this year’s work and to formally dedicate one of the new signs.

To reach the site first go to the Whistler Interpretive Forest entrance which is located on Ckeakamus Lake Road near Highway 99 (opposite to Function Junction).  Follow Cheakamus Lake Road.  Remember to turn left onto the gravel portion of Cheakamus Lake Road just before the Walter Zebrowski Bridge.  Then drive 5km up Cheakamus Lake Road to arrive at Old Forest Loop
