Vocational Educational and Community Awards

The focus at the dinner will be on Vocational Teaching and Community Service Awards.  At this event, awards are being presented  to outstanding teachers who have taken a leadership role in professional and community networks and who have participated in external learning opportunities.
 
Inaugural Awardees are from Abbotsleigh, Barker College, Knox Grammar, Our Lady of the Rosary Primary Waitara, St Edmunds and St Lucys schools in Wahroonga, Turramurra High, and West Pymble Public School.
 
A Community Service Award will also be presented to  an individual who has voluntarily served our schools  over the years and is deserving of special recognition
 
President Marlene Carty expressed her delight in supporting this new initiative and will welcome Alister Henskens SC MP, Member for Ku-ring-gai as a special guest--who will present these awards to the recipient schools and community leaders
