Rotary CAMPOUT

GET READY FOR ROTARY FELLOWSHIP! 

 

Join us for the first Club Service/Fellowship event we have all been waiting for!

 

Details: 12pm noon July 10 to 12pm noon July 11th at Camp Wamp (just 2.2 miles from Royal Gorge)  *dinner and breakfast will be included at no cost*

 

Camp Wamp is embraced by tall graceful pines and nestled on the banks of Deer Lake in Soda Springs, California. Beautiful flowers and plants grow naturally along the  pathways and building entrances throughout the campground.   https://www.campwamp.org/our-camp.  Camp Wamp was started and is currently owned by Steve Wampler, who has quite the story to tell.  His inspirational video, “Wampler’s Ascent,” can be found on YouTube.

 

There is *almost* unlimited room for tents and vans, and there is plenty of room for RVs at the top of the camp - about a 2 minute trail walk from the mess hall that has a commercial kitchen.  The free dinner and breakfast is being provided by the infamous Billy McCullough.

 

Dogs, kids, and significant others (not in that order) are all invited.  There are showers and full bathrooms on site.  Please let us know whether you will camp in a tent or RV, or just come out for dinner or breakfast, as well as the number of people in your party.  Club event registration will be coming out soon so stay tuned...
