Club Holiday Party

Please join your fellow Rotarians at our annual Holiday Celebration.  It is always a fun evening lending to great fellowship and spreading holiday cheer!  Don't forget to bring something to the club White Elephant meeting, 12/7  where we auction off our most prized and highly valued personal treasures to raise money for the costs of the holiday party! Cost of the event TBD.

Please RSVP by no later than December 5, 2017!!  And don't forget to bring your unwrapped gift for Truckee Community Christmas to the event.

Looking for volunteers to help that evening.  Please make a note when you RSVP if you are able to help the night of.

• Assist with decorations (1-2)
• Work the registration table (1-2)
• Set Up (1-2)
• Clean up after (1-2)

We’ll be collecting unwrapped gifts for Truckee Community Christmas, which distributes gifts to children in need in our community.  TCC usually receives lots of toys for kids ages 5-10 but runs short on gifts for the little ones and pre-teens/teens. Here’s a list of ideas for the older kids: 

• Gift cards to local or chain stores  - $10-$25
• Jewelry for guys and girls
• Watches
• Beanie hats
• Gloves
• Candles
• Temporary tattoos
• Manicure sets - fingernail polish etc.
• Hair Brushes, combs, funky hair clips etc

• Blankets and bedding in fun or contemporary prints

• Remote control cars and helicopters

• CD carriers and CD storage racks

• Personal grooming stuff :  shampoo, conditioner, deodorants
• Movie passes
• Wallets
