The annual Rotary Club of Pittsford Golf Scramble was held at Victor Hills Golf Club on August 8, 2016. Proceeds benefited the Pittsford Food Cupboard, Rotary International Foundation and other Pittsford Rotary Club service projects.

We had an absolute perfect day for golf. Over 60 golfers participated in the scramble format. Registration started at 9 am. Continental breakfast was served during registration. The shotgun start was at 10 a.m. The golfers enjoyed blue skies, lunch at the turn, beverages & snacks that were delivered all day long.  At the end of the day, they had a delicious steak and chicken dinner.

Participants joined in the putting contest and the Woodcliff getaway raffle. A million thanks to Rotarian John Bernacki for donating our raffle prize. Over 40 door prizes were awarded, and each golfer took home a bottle of wine. They all had a great time!

Our Winners were:
1st Place: Team McCoy at 9 under
2nd Place: Team Turner at 7 under
1st Place Mixed: Team YMCA at 2 under
Putting Contest: Steve Schmidt
Closest to the rope: Al Shaw
Closest to the pin: Steve Schmidt

Thanks to all Rotarians who assisted with the Tournament:Charlie Turner, Kevin O’Grady, Jim Cameron, Jim Murphy, Margaret McManus, Cart Girls, and registration volunteers. It was a little hectic at first, and golf scramble Chairman Peter Brown and co-Chairman Chris McCoy appreciate all the help that they received.  They would like everyone recognized for their contributions.
