This evening was our annual Holiday Party! We gathered in the Red Room at The Naples Hotel, elegantly decorated for the season! We had twenty-nine Naples Rotarians and five guests attending. Guitar and vocal music was provided by Bruce Wayne McLellan before and after the meal. 

 

Our guests this evening were: Tom Scoda, John Manser, Stacey Shearing and Trish and Paul Lambiase.

 

Jack stepped up to announce the results of the Election of Officers last week. The slate was approved by all members who voted. He introduced and thanked Judy Manser, who stepped into the Treasurer position now and will continue when the new board begins in July 2026. He also thanked Laurie O'Brien, who will work with Judy for the transition.

 

We passed the hat for donations for the Constantino family who lost their son Ryan over the Thanksgiving weekend.

 

After a delicious dinner, provided by Tom and Destiny Salviski, the gift game was begun. John and Sherry brought in giant dice and a list of what would happen with each number rolled! Everyone started with a random gift in front of them and we took turns rolling the dice and following the directions. Jack, in his red shirt,  won and lost the most gifts! Chloe, being the youngest in the room, had many trades too! It was a fun way to direct the trades around the room! At the end, all gifts were revealed! 

 

Thanks went out to Bruce for the music and to The Hotel for the hospitality and Tom and Destiny and their staff for the great meal! It was a warm and wonderful evening!
