Some interesting facts.
We will do some sums and get some more accurate figures but:-
It took 20 years to raise our first million $ 1997-98. Aproximately another 10 years to raise our 2nd million some time between 2007 and 20o8. According to some sums David Byfield has done this last week we are over $3m we think at the moment we are closer to $3.2m not the $4m reported last week, still a wonderful effort considering these are Nett figures and pretty well all into our community. I am told that you can multiply that figure by almost three times when calculating money generated by the wider community as a result of our efforts.
I have been requested to include this in our Bulletin this week.21st Feb 2018 - As some of you know I like Australian bush poetry and Murray Hartin is one of my favourite poets. With all that is going on in Canberra it has not taken him long to pen this one, it is hot off the press. Good on you Muzz.

Please see this letter below from Clare Lawler. Fellows they would really appreciate it if we could get a member to attend at their meetings from time to time. Wollundry RC is their sponsoring Club. I will remind members of the their next scheduled meeting and call for a volunteer from Wollundry to attend.

Hi David,
As per our discussion today, here is a roster for the upcoming Rotaract Meetings. It would be great to have some Wollundry members along! As well as some young people who could be potential members.
Our meetings are held every second Monday at 6:15pm for 6:30pm. They alternate between CSU and a pub, as we continue our year-long pub crawl.
All meetings at Charles Sturt University are held in Building 14, Room 101 and have a guest speaker, so are slightly formal. Meetings at a pub, however, are quite casual and more social.
To get to our room at CSU: When driving out to the uni, go straight through the big round-a-bout on Boorooma St. Follow the road along and turn left at the next round-a-bout. Turn into the first carpark (P11) on the left and then follow the path next to the disabled parking spots. There's another path on the right about half way down the slope, follow it along and Building 14 will be on your right. Room 101 is on the left of the first floor. Building 14 also holds the Wal Fyfe Theatre, so if you see signs to that you're in the right place.

Another great "Hillis Day". A great chance for members to catch up with each other and enjoy some fellowship. The month of March is certainly a busy time for the Club and I thank members for their support with the many projects. James gave us a report on the "PETS" training weekend. 2018 - 2019 will be another busy year for District 9700. Rob Nicholson talked about our New Members night on 18th April. Please start looking for some potential members to invite to the member's night. Rob also mentioned we are looking at a weekend in Jindabyne may be in May with over 20 members showing an interest. More details to come.
