Fellowship followed for a while around the Editor’s table and discussion centred around making the Farmers Market Coordinators and other long term positions to be no more than 2 years, Mountain cycling trails around Jindabyne, then Rail Trails at Myrtleford and ended up discussing the tastiness or otherwise of campfire cooked Bogong moths. It was just like surfing the Net.

Remembrance Day.
President John told us about a trip he undertook in 2009 accompanying a school sports tennis team to France where he spent an evening with former Exchange Student Francoise’s family and Rotary Club in April. He took the opportunity to visit Villers Bretonneux and Ypres on the France/Belgium border and showed us some photos he took which included the poem “in Flanders Fields” by Lt Col John McCrae of Canada which became the inspiration for the Red Poppy to become the symbol of remembrance. He told us about a school in Villers Bretonneux build with funds raised by schools in Victoria and the Menin Gate memorial to the some 550,000 Commonwealth troops of WW1 who have no known graves.
The Lucky draw was made by Angela drawing 55 out first (bad luck Kerry Pascoe for being away) and then passing the prize to number 6 Craig Bromley.
