Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells......

Christmas time again, how quickly it comes round! We arrived to Chrismassy decorated tables courtesy of decorator extraordinaire Barb Elderfield and juggled savory pastries with our Champers, wine or beer. Once seated President Jim introduced the club "choir" who got everyone in the mood singing the Aussie version of Jingle Bells. Then a rewritten version of the 12 Days of Christmas thanks to Jen Fernyhough who was ably supported by Sue, Annie and Helen and the token male, Tom! Much laughter, singing, and cracker pulling made us hungry for the feast and feast it was. A great buffet of filet steak, ham and whole Tasmanian poached Salmon and super salads was enjoyed followed bu an enormous array of delectable cakes and chocolates. Much dancing followed with Dave and his mates playing all the old rocking tunes. Santa  Russell made an appearance and many a lass and a few lads sat on his lap to get a present! Many thanks to all the slaves in the kitchen and the bus boys clearing plates. Another fine event ran like clockwork
