Oh What a Night!

What a sight met our eyes when we entered the MBC to find a wonderland of bunting, candles, flashing lights and even a fabulous fortune tellers tent. We met mysterious strangers, some of ill repute, who on closer inspection turned out to be familiar friends!  Costumes were great, gypsy maidens, balaclava clad thieves and even  a pirate! We were disturbed to find Fagin there in top hat and straggly beard looking as Dickens had described him. He fooled us entirely when we realised he was a she. Well done Pam! The band started up with great dancing music and we enjoyed delicious Goulash with Gnocchi and a wonderful Black Forest dessert trifle. Then the fortune teller arrived and we all had our Tarot cards read and from the shocked and delighted expressions she did a great job!
Thanks to all the hard working committee, Jenny and Di for the food and and Barb for the decorations plus many others who pitched in to help. Well done!
The photo is of the room before the crowd arrived and other photos have been posted in photos.
