The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is a voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancers. We provide 30 grants to Canadian researchers investigating innovative treatments and cures. We also provide free information and support services to patients and caregivers. The LLSC mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.. HELP!!!  RCoV Youth Programs need YOUR help.

RCoV's annual fundraiser for our youth programs, Oktoberfest, is fast approaching. Our goal this year is to raise a minimum of $15,000 to ensure we have enough funds to support our youth programs for the year. We need YOUR help to achieve this. Here's what we need:
  1. Donations, donations, donations for the auction. We need these as soon as possible. The more the merrier and the bigger the better. Contact your friends and colleagues to see if they too can help. Contact Wayne Fraser ( and/or Carolyn (
  2. Purchase tickets to attend. Consider purchasing a table for a family party or work social. An email will be sent out very soon to register.

  • Bill Schulz shared the sad news that Don Water passed away.
  • Rotarian from India (Dr. Hariharan) Past President of the Rotary Club of Aurocity, Pondicherry in Dist. 2980 is looking for accommodation, a homestay, for April 2 and 3, 2018. Dr. Hariharan is a MUSIC THERAPIST by profession and will be visiting Canada on three month long tour from 3rd March 2018 for his workshops and concerts.  Dr. Hariharan will be speaking to us regarding the HEALING POWERS OF INDIAN MUSIC THERAPY FOR ROTARIANS' WELLNESS
  • Auction items are needed for Oktoberfest ASAP! Please help by donating and/or encouraging your business/personal contacts to do so.

  • Thomas Miller of Rotaract update; they had their 1st strategic planning session. The hope is for a more interactive relationship between RCoV & Rotaract. Pacific Canadian Experience with Rotaract Trip: Aug24 – Sep03; there will be lots of events during the week global Rotaract ties. 
  • Linda Enns said goodbye as this was her last meeting as the Club's Administrator.
