Next meeting: Tuesday September 12, 2017 @ Terminal City Club Ty Speer, President & CEO, Tourism Vancouver
Ty took over the helm from Rick Antonson in 2014. Tourism Vancouver’s vision is for Vancouver to be known as the most exciting, attractive and welcoming city destination in North America, and a must-visit year-round destination. Its mission is to attract more visitors, get them to stay longer, spend more and say wonderful things about our destination both during and after their visit.
We believe, as others have said, that as a destination, Vancouver is what the world should be. Our promise to visitors needs to deliver on the core attributes we already own, and on key attributes that we aspire to own. This commitment will lead us to our ultimate goal of becoming a one-of-a-kind destination and genuine brand. To read more about Tourism Vancouver, click HERE.
