Elmira Rotarian celebrates his 90th birthday

Here he stands after a Rotary lunch meeting with his long-time friend Peter Smith, Director of the National Soaring Museum. Archie has been a member of the Elmira Rotary Club since 1967, serving as its president from 1974-75. Archie's expertise is local history - he is active as the club's historian, often giving presentations to current members of the club's past activities, and still works part time for the Chemung County Historical Society as its historian. He is five years younger than the Elmira Rotary Club itself, which will turn 95 this year!
