District Governor Darcy Long presented Paul Harris Awards to a number of very deserving citizens.  Linda Hamilton was the first to be recognized for her continued support of Rotary. See the gallery for more award recipients.
The second recipient was Peter Laurie.  Peter volunteered to help for a month at our Rotary Project in Ndandini, Kenya.  He stayed there for three months and is going back again in 2019.
 
 
Reverend Clarence Li of St. Hilda's Anglican Church in Sechelt was recognized for his dedication to helping the homeless by providing a cold weather shelter for people in our community.
 
Ann Miles was recognized for her leadership and energy in various Rotary projects.  Ann just steps in and does it!
 
Margaret Acton (with husband Terry) was awarded a Paul Harris Award for her continued support of Rotary.  She has continued to support projects herself and also supports and encourages her husband in his endeavours as treasurer of both the Sunshine Coast Club and the Rotary District 5040
