George Waldo (1937 - 2018)

 It is with heavy hearts that we share news of the passing of George Waldo, who passed peacefully, July 20, 2018, surrounded by those who love him. George was a resident of Peachland, B.C. for 34 years, serving 3 years as Councillor (1976-1979) and then as Mayor of Peachland for 19 years (1980-1994 and 1997-2002). George moved to Sechelt, B.C. in 2006, and was an inspiring Greeter with our Rotary Club of the Sunshine Coast-Sechelt, and always shared witty words at each meeting.
