Missed a Meeting? Make It Up!

Keep your attendance record perfect

Weekly club meetings provide the fellowship that is vital to Rotary, but sometimes you just can't make it to the meeting. If you miss a meeting, there are three easy ways to make it up:

1. Attend another Rotary Club's meeting. From Lafayette to Los Angeles, from Louisiana to Lithuania, there are plenty of Rotary Club meetings you can choose from. Look on the back of our club bulletin for meeting dates, times and locations of more than twenty other clubs in the Acadiana area. If you're out of town, use the Club Locator at www.rotary.org to find details of meetings around the world. You can even download the free Club Locator app for your smart phone for easy Rotary reference anytime, anywhere.

2.  Make up a meeting online. Go to www.rotaryeclubone.org any time, choose an article you'd like to read from a wide range of interesting topics, then fill out the online Make-up Form. You can even e-mail your make-up information to our club, quick and easy.

3.  Attend a Rotary organization meeting. You can also make up by attending a regular meeting of the local Rotaract club, Interact club, Rotary Community Corps or Rotary Fellowship group. Learn more at www.rotary.org.

If you make up a meeting within two weeks of your absence, you can receive credit for the make-up and you will not be charged for the Petroleum Club meal on the day you missed.

We definitely want to see you at our lunch meetings each Thursday. But if you can't make it to the meeting, please make up. The fellowship of Rotary is a wonderful thing!
