Dear Rotarian,

This is a tough week for many of us because Sunday night was the last football game until September! Hope we make it.

Last week's Valentine's Day celebration was fun! Helen Cansler did a great job of planning the event and Chris Neighbors was a great host. Congratulations to Pam and Austin Garrett for winning the game. I felt that I achieved a small personal victory because I didn't say anything that got me in trouble with Kim.

This week, we'll be hearing from Kristi Wick who is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at UTC and specializes in the field of Gerontology. Should be informative and interesting.

We will also have a board meeting this week after our regular meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend.

We are nearing the end of our Membership contest. Johnny Rogers and Dale Rardin are tied for the lead. You've got a few more weeks to try to catch them! Remember, the real purpose of the contest is to remind all of us to be thinking about potential new members for our club. One of this year's Rotary International themes is "Grow More to Do More". Dale did a great job last week explaining what Rotary means to him and how his membership has enabled him to impact lives of people in our community and around the world. By growing our membership we can do even more.

I hope to see you Wednesday at our meeting, but if you need to join by Zoom here is the meeting link. If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact Dale Rardin at 423-605-6790 (cell) and he will assist you.

If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Chris Neighbors or President Jim Glass of the change.
