Dear Rotarian,

Good afternoon! I hope your week is off to a good start. Mine started out pretty well because I just came in from the beach. My family is in Florida for a few days visiting my parents and spending some time at the beach.

I won't be able to join you this week for our Wednesday meeting, but it is a special time because we get to honor several teachers from our community. This week's focus is on the Influential Educators that work with the young people of our schools to make a difference every day. I'm always amazed at what we hear about these teachers and how they are impacting the lives of their students.

Last week we heard from Maury Nicely who spoke about the history of Chattanooga's architecture. Our city certainly has a rich history and it was fun to hear about the buildings that were built in Chattanooga and their interesting stories.

I hope you can attend the meeting on Wednesday, but if you need to join by Zoom here is the meeting link. If you have difficulties in accessing the online meeting, please contact us by using the chat feature of Zoom.
