President's Message

Hello !,

This has been yet another great week for our Club!  We had a wonderful meeting on Wednesday thanks to Tom Mundell, the CEO and President of The Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center.  Not only did Tom give us some historical insight but also left us with several VIP passes for any member to come visit the center.  If you would like one, please see me, but it is my hopes that we have an offsite meeting here, I know we can do it!

I want to say a special thank you to Stan Hildebrand for introducing our Club to SPARC Watersports Day!  For close to a decade, Stan has helped this group (Sports, Arts, & Recreation of Chattanooga) with getting disabled youth and locals enjoy fun in the water with specially crafted devises.  I'm incredibly proud of the six of us members that came and helped with this event.  While Stan was busy in the water helping launch the water skiers, the rest of us helped serve lunch to over 250 people attending.  This is what Rotary is about and I want to see us participate every year going forward.  And I do expect us to have more members help next year! It was such an inspiring event.

This week we will hearing from Adam Schreader, the CEO of Erlanger East and Erlanger North Hospitals.  Adam has been in healthcare for over 20 years and is going to enlighten our club about updates and the new partnership that is developing at each hospital.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and thank you for putting Service Above Self!  If you can't join us in person, please join us by Zoom at the link below:
