Dear Rotarian,

Good Morning! I hope you were able to enjoy a relaxing long weekend. Last week our club was wowed by Chris Beckstrand's photos and stories of his caving expeditions. We learned lots of fun facts about caves including that Tennessee has more caves than any other state in the country. Our club was wowed again when Chris shared his story of donating his kidney to the late Phil Smartt.

This week we will hear from Pam Fleenor, Chancellor of Hamilton County.

Are you interested in learning more about Rotary at the district and international level? If so, District 6780 is hosting a class, the Rotary Leadership Institute, on Saturday, September 10th from 9:30-4:30 EST (8:30-3:30 CST) at Roane State Community College in Crossville (2567 Cook Rd). It’s a great opportunity for new members, or those who have been a member for a while to learn more about Rotary and develop leadership skills in a volunteer organization. The cost for the day is $50. You may email Beth Stubbs to register at beth@cpaoffices.com

Please plan to join us this week. If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
