I hope you all enjoyed last weeks' Business Speed Dating event and learned something new about our new members or even some of our long time ones. I hope some of you were able to make it the activities at the Miracle Field event over the weekend. Helping out the handicapped kids is always a fun event.

This week is our Club Assembly. Sometimes we use these to build up our committees with new members as it takes many people to run this club effectively. This time we are using it to present some changes the board of directors has recommended to improve our functioning. These will include changes in some our charges for activities and review of the financials. It is an opportunity for everyone to be together to hear and see things rather than just attending a board meeting.

Next week will be my end of the year report  and it promises to be an exciting one  as we have accomplished much this past year. We will also have some special guests in attendance. Our club awards and recognitions will also be presented. Brad and I will both be at the Rotary International Convention the week of the 25th but we will have a guest speaker and David Elliott will be in charge.

We also have a Golf Committee Meeting scheduled for tomorrow after our regular meeting. The purpose is to discuss our recent golf tournament and contribute any comments, questions or suggestions. All are invited.
