Dear Rotarian,

Good afternoon! Last week we hosted Dr. Sarah Lane, Principal of Bess T Shepherd Elementary.  Dr. Lane shared with us the initiatives taking place at the school and some of the recent successes including increased parental involvement - which has been one of the focuses of this year's grant.  Dr. Lane shared lots of photos of the students and faculty engaged in a variety of activities and events at the school.

This week is our Law Enforcement Recognition Program.  This year we our honoring an officer from Hamilton County and an officer from the City of Chattanooga who embody Rotary's Service Above Self motto.  The officers are nominated from within their departments and each officer will  receive our award and a donation from our club to the charity of their choice on their behalf.  This promises to be a powerful program.  Please plan to join us this week.  If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.

Meeting ID: 830 3025 5424

Passcode: 685 432

See you Wednesday!

Warm regards,

Betsy Gibson
