Dear Rotarians,

Happy New Year! Hopefully you're back at it today after a long weekend (and maybe a late night watching football) and feel ready for your start of 2018. It's always a time of reflection as well looking forward with new goals and aspirations. I hope and trust your 2018 will be the greatest yet!

This Wednesday we will have Beth Stubbs with us as she speaks to us as the District 6780 Foundation Chair. I look forward to hearing updates from her regarding the Rotary Foundation and the amazing work we all assist in through our work and donations to the Foundation.

I also want to say "Thank You" to everyone who was involved in the Bethel Bible Village project on Thursday, December 21. What a great way to demonstrate support and care than with tangible gifts to those in need by sending food and gift cards home with BBV's children and their families. Thanks to Kevin and Vickie in their assistance in organizing this effort.

Lastly, this Thursday is our fun after-Christmas Christmas party. It will be held at the studio of Cansler Photography located at 850 Vine St, Chatt, 37403 from 5:30 - 9:00pm. Brad and Helen's studio is just a few blocks from the campus of UTC. Please check the e-vite you should have received from Betsy for your RSVP. This is a fun time. I hope you plan on coming!

I look forward to seeing you all this Wednesday!
