Dear Rotarian,

I imagine you were like me and enjoyed the "cool-off" over the weekend as both the temperature and the humidity levels were much lower than they have been. It really felt like a football weekend.

With fall getting closer that means it is "Purple Pinkie Time". You will get information on ordering donuts in our meeting this week, and I will also send out a separate email containing order forms. We heard from Hank Powell this past week on the good that Rotary does around the world through the Rotary Foundation, and the money raised for Polio eradication is another great program spearheaded by Rotary International.

By the time we meet on Wednesday, a group from our Club, led by Community Service Director Steve Germ, will have served breakfast that morning at the Ronald McDonald house. Thank you all for that act of service.

This week we look forward to hearing from Jerry and Debbie Hightower, who are the coordinators of the Chattanooga SPARC program, which is an adaptive sports program for individuals with disabilities.

Please plan to join us this week. If you are not able to join in person please join us by Zoom.
