Well it seems that my year has been full of a lot of firsts...... it seems that the golf tournament will be added to this list..... After discussion with Robin and looking at the weather conditions noted for tomorrow the decision has been made to cancel the tournament tomorrow and reschedule for the rain date of Wednesday May 28th same time and location.....Please take a moment to contact individuals that you know that were going to participate on teams....
In addition, since this is a late change and it would be difficult to make other arrangements for a club meeting we will not have a club meeting tomorrow either...... I look forward to seeing you all on Wed May 21st at our regular meeting at Embassy Suites......

Our District Conference will be held in Chattanooga at the Downtown Marriott and Chattanooga Convention Center on April 11-12, 2014. We are being asked to provide 2 items for the Silent Auction, the proceeds of which will go to Polio Plus for the eradication of Polio. It is suggested that each club provide one item suitable for a gentleman and another for a lady. Items may be brought to the conference and placed in the Silent Auction Room (Room 7 8 of the Convention Center) on the morning of Friday, April 11.
In order to plan the Silent Auction, it would be appreciated if you would let the Conference Co-Chair, Henry Pate (hpate1942@yahoo.com) know by email what items you will be bringing. The District Treasurer, Jenifer Campbell, will be sending an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes after the conference. Your assistance in making our District Conference a success is greatly appreciated.
