I hope you have all had a great week and hopefully stayed cool during this heatwave!

What a joy it was to have Scott "Quake" McMahen, co-host of SportTalk on 102.3 FM join us this past week!  He has such incredible insight and sports knowledge, and plenty of stories to boot.  He will always be welcome at our Club!

This Wednesday we will hear from Cyndy Waters, the Founder & Director of The Orbit Village Project, a non-profit organization that for over 30 years that provides shelter, food, and education for many orphans in Nairobi, Kenya.  Cyndy was a key speaker at our last District Conference and has been kind enough to come from Knoxville to share her story.  This might be a great opportunity for our Club to find an International Project (hint, hint).

Next week we will be hearing from Jeff Romine who works with the Georgia Department of Safety and will be sharing his knowledge on the dangers of lithium-ion batteries.
