Dear Rotarian,

I hope your week is off to a great start!  Last week's meeting was a review of our 1st quarter.  It's hard to believe it has gone by so quick, but we should be very proud of everything that has been accomplished so far!  You will find a few slides attached to this email, which outlines our 1st quarter and provides a look at upcoming projects and programs.

As part of last week's meeting, Dale Rardin provided a slideshow of pictures from the recent RYLA event.  We were able to sponsor four local students to attend this district-wide event, which provided leadership training for 185 student leaders.  After Dale's presentation, Kevin Beirne showed an excellent 10 minute documentary of Rotary's position in the fight against polio and provided an update on the Purple Pinkie Donut Campaign.  There is a flyer attached that provides more details, but our club is committed to leading this effort for our district.  We're off to an excellent start with over 85 boxes sold already!  Feel free to reply to this email with your donut pre-orders - $20 box provides $180 towards End Polio Now!

Come join us this week to hear from our friends at Junior Achievement about the excellent work they do for the children in our community!  We are excited to be participating in "JA in a Day" later this year at Bess T Shepherd Elementary School.

See you Wednesday!

Volunteering to be part of our weekly rotation of being a Greeter or leading our club in Prayer and Pledge is a privilege and a responsibility.  If you have a Greeter or Prayer & Pledge assignment and are unable to serve, you are responsible for finding your replacement and notifying Craig Miller or President Tyler of the change.  Thank you for your club service.
