Dear Rotarian,

I hope you are having a great week!  We had a special program last week from Karen Brown, co-founder of Cry for the Broken.  Their founder, Catrina Cabe, was immersed into a world of addiction and prostitution at a young age after being forced out of her house due to sexual abuse.  After a hard-fought battle to remove herself from this vicious cycle, Catrina vowed to rescue every woman possible.  This organization spends time on the streets and neighborhoods of Chattanooga, building relationships with these ladies and bringing awareness to the neighborhoods.

This week's program is led by Shannon Stephenson from Cempa Community Care.  Cempa's mission is to champion healthy communities.  They offer a wide variety of services, which include medical, dental, and social support for their clients aiming to maintain or improve their health, safety, and well-being.  Cempa specializes in infectious disease outbreaks and prevention, making them a resource for local and national health updates.

Our meeting on December 18th will feature Todd Gaither's quartet, King's Cadence.  I hope that you will invite your spouse or a guest to join for what is sure to be a special program.  Please RSVP using the email invitation from Harold Peterson or sign up at this week's luncheon so we have an accurate head count for our meal.

See you Wednesday!
Tyler Spry
