Dear Rotarian,

What an excellent meeting last week!  We were honored to hear from District Governor Greg Maciolek.  I hope everyone was able to sense his desire for the growth of Rotary clubs across our district!  Greg shared with us his goals for our club and District 6780:

  1. Increase Membership - goal of +4 members for our club
  2. Increase Literacy programs - targeting improvement of 3rd grade reading level
  3. 10% of District Members with $250 Foundation giving - adding $110 to our club's invoiced Foundation and Polio Plus giving
    • Please notify myself or Kari if you would like to be a $250 Foundation Member
  4. Publish Club Annual Report
  5. 10 Clubs Contribution of $500 to Bomar Foundation scholarship fund
    • Our club's $500 contribution was announced last week!

I am excited to announce that we are well on our way to accomplishing these objectives!  Let's stay focused on club growth and our "Challenge of One", and please let myself or Kari know if you are interested in becoming a $250 Foundation member.

Please take an opportunity to introduce yourself to our newest member, Mark Wilson.  We inducted Mark last week, who serves as Executive Director for The Innkeeper Ministry.

We will be hearing from Ken Hartley this week, who is a certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach with the John C Maxwell leadership development team.  Ken has also traveled across the world as a skilled actor and illusionist, where he uses his gifts to communicate, entertain, and inspire!

I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!

2019-2020 Club President
